Singapore Indoor Stadium regularly hosts all kinds of events, such as music concerts, basketball, tennis, esports and more. Construction of the stadium already started on the in 1985 on the 1st of January and lasted for little more than 2 years with the completion date being the 1st of March 1987. The doors were opened to the public on the 1st of July 1988.

At full capacity the stadium can fit 15,000 people, which is reduced to 12,000 in a seating configuration.
