'stavn' and 'jabbi' benched by Heroic

In a shocking move Heroic benched both "jabbi" and "stavn". The organization recently signed Peter ‘⁠dupreeh’ Rasmussen to fill in the shoes of Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller. However, Heroic today revealed the reason for the transfer was the requests of "jabbi" and "stavn" to remove ‘cadiaN’ from the roster. Heroic stated that they had to choose between ‘cadiaN’ and the whole team and "jabbi" and "stavn" promised to extend their contracts following the departure of ‘cadiaN’. However, after being presented with the new contract, Heroic revealed that "jabbi" and "stavn" informed them that they are in negotiations with Astralis.

Heroic stated "Heroic is sad to announce that stavn and jabbi are temporarily removed from the starting lineup. This situation was the last thing we wished for, but circumstances have forced us to make this difficult decision. After Pro League, stavn and jabbi initiated a push to replace cadiaN, which came unexpectedly to both cadiaN and Heroic's management team. Mediation efforts were attempted, but the situation was brought to an ultimatum where Heroic had to choose between cadiaN and the rest of the team. stavn and jabbi agreed that if Heroic let cadiaN go, they would extend their contracts. With clear intentions from stavn and jabbi to extend, Heroic amicably allowed cadiaN to pursue a new path. The same day stavn and jabbi were presented with their new contracts they communicated having made future plans with Astralis. Their Heroic contracts had almost 10 months until expiration. While handeling the short term uncertainty and planning for a long term solution, Heroic's ambition is to bring stavn and jabbi back. Our performance staff have made a plan to support their potential return to the starting lineup. We are open to discussing transfers to organizations with a professional approach and an understanding of our players' market value. We aim to find a good path forward with a positive solution for everyone involved."
