According to recent news, Activision Blizzard threatened to remove Call of Duty from Xbox Series consoles if Microsoft didn't offer it a special revenue share. Reports state that Bobby Kotick asked Microsoft to increase the revenue share to the same level as Sony and refused to prepare Xbox dev kits. Xbox vice president Sarah Bond stated "Time was limited. We had players whose expectations we wanted to meet, so we ultimately made a decision that it was the best thing for the business.”
