Sega Europe has announced it is ending its partnership with Amplitude Studios, which is regaining its independence through a management buyout. The decision follows a period of "close consultation" between the two companies. Going forward, Amplitude will focus on its own IP as an independent developer. The move concludes the "structural reforms" within Sega's European branch.

This decision allows us to be more agile in our approach while continuing to shape the vision that we've had from the beginning, empowering us to push boundaries and be closer than ever to our community."
