Aurora Gaming, a European organization established in 2022, is expanding into mobile esports with its debut in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports. They have revealed plans to field a team in the MPL Philippines, with Manila set as their team base.
While the full roster details are yet to be unveiled, Aurora Gaming is recognized in the Balkans and CIS regions for its esports presence. Their teams compete across various games and regions, including a CS team primarily Russian-based and a Dota 2 team situated in Malaysia. This venture marks Aurora Gaming's initial foray into the realm of mobile gaming esports.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is a mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed and published by Moonton, a Chinese developer under ByteDance. Initially released in 2016, the game gained widespread popularity, particularly in Southeast Asia. Building on its success, Moonton ventured into esports by establishing regional tournaments known as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL). These leagues serve as qualifiers for the prestigious Mobile Legends World Championships, further solidifying MLBB's position in the competitive gaming landscape.
