The BLAST R6 Munich Major wrapped up with a dramatic showdown in Germany, where M80 overpowered Team Falcons 3–1 in the Grand Final. The win delivered M80 a $250k prize and a direct berth to next year’s Six Invitational, the premier event in Rainbow Six Siege esports.
Team Falcons managed to take only a single map off M80 and even that came down to a nail-biting final round. For most of the series, M80 held firm control and dictated the pace from start to finish.
The victory marks a pivotal moment for North American Siege, with M80 securing its first Major trophy. Falcons’ strong run made them a formidable opponent, but M80 ultimately proved too resilient.
By locking in a spot at the Six Invitational—set to take place in Paris with a multi-million-dollar prize pool M80 has checked off the most critical competitive milestone of the season.
The win also adds another milestone to the already staggering résumé of M80 coach Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten. The 31-year-old former competitor continues to build one of the most decorated careers in Rainbow Six history, with accomplishments including:
Six Invitational 2018
Six Invitational 2019
Six Invitational 2023
DreamHack Winter 2018
Pro League Year 2 Seasons 1 & 2
Six Major Paris 2018
South Korean League 2024
North American League 2025
Munich Major 2025
