Rockstar Games today introduced the Cfx Marketplace a dedicated online store where players and server operators can purchase mods for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 roleplay servers.

From Legal Clash to Creator Support
Things haven't always been smooth. In 2015 Rockstar and Take Two slammed FiveM as an illegal multiplayer setup that encouraged piracy resulting in bans for its key developers. Fast forward to November 2022 and policies flipped. Rockstar greenlit FiveM and RedM for non profit use provided they respect intellectual property avoid trademark issues and steer clear of official GTA Online or multiplayer modes.
What You Can Buy on Cfx Marketplace
The new storefront acts as a hub for modders to distribute and monetize creations like custom props scripts maps and some other additions. Initial offerings come from hand picked partners Rockstar Games collaborated with during development. Some items go for free while premium bundles run into hundreds of dollars. Everything tailored for seamless integration across servers.
Phased Launch for Smooth Sailing
Rollout happens gradually to prioritize quality for creators and server admins alike. More details on expansion coming soon as the platform grows. This development represents one of the most significant embraces of user-generated content in Rockstars history. By providing a legitimate revenue stream the company hopes to encourage higher-quality mods sustain long-term creator participation and ultimately enrich the gameplay experience for millions of roleplay fans.
