ESL Pro Tour Details Revealed

ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has announced key details regarding the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) for Counter-Strike 2, set to take place in 2025 and beyond. The organization will invest over $22 million across 2025 and 2026, allocating $11 million annually to support the competitive ecosystem.
The 2025 EPT will feature two major championship events: IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne. Additionally, five Masters-level competitions are planned, including ESL Pro League Seasons 21 and 22, IEM Dallas, IEM Chengdu, and a yet-to-be-named IEM event in April 2025. Notably, an open slot system will allow semi-pro and pro teams to compete in regional qualifiers, in accordance with Valve's rules.

EFG will maintain its commitment to the Intel Grand Slam race, offering an annual prize of $1 million. The EPT aims to create a diverse competitive landscape across multiple continents.
Upcoming Championship Schedule:
ESL Pro Tour Winter Championship: IEM Katowice, Jan. 29 – Feb. 9, 2025, in Katowice, Poland. The final three days will be live at the Spodek Arena, with tickets available starting Oct. 22.
ESL Pro Tour Summer Championship: IEM Cologne, July 23 – Aug. 3, 2025, in Cologne, Germany. The final three days will take place at the LANXESS arena, with tickets also available starting Oct. 22.
Masters-Level Competitions:
ESL Pro League Season 21: Feb. 25 – March 16, 2025, location TBA in Europe.
IEM Spring 2025: April 21-27, 2025, location TBA.
IEM Dallas 2025: May 19-25, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
ESL Pro League Season 22: Sept. 23 – Oct. 12, 2025, location TBA in Europe.
IEM Chengdu 2025: Nov. 3-9, 2025, in Chengdu, China, with further details forthcoming.
Additionally, EFG plans to launch grassroots competitions through ESEA Leagues on its FACEIT platform. More information regarding the 2025 EPT is expected in the coming months.
