Fragadelphia has announced that it will host the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 LAN event of 2026, dubbed Miami Frag 2, in Miami, Florida. The event will take place from January 2nd to 4th, 2026, marking a major milestone for both the tournament organizer and the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

In addition to the event dates, Fragadelphia revealed that tickets for the 32-team tournament will go on sale after the third map of the Blocktober Grand Finals, scheduled for October 2nd to 5th, 2025. This tournament will serve as the final LAN before invites for the StarLadder Budapest Major are distributed.

Tickets for Miami Frag 2 will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and are open to all teams looking to compete in the event, which will feature a scaling prize pool of up to $10,000 (~£7,428).

Seeding for the tournament will be based on the December 2025 Valve Regional Standings (VRS), offering teams a crucial opportunity to earn VRS points that will determine which teams qualify for Counter-Strike’s Majors.

Before Miami Frag 2, all eyes will be on Fragadelphia’s The Block 2 LAN, which has already expanded to 48 teams after tickets sold out in under three minutes.
