Hearthstone Esports Roadmap Revealed

Hearthstone esports in 2025 will feature three qualification periods, culminating in the 16-player Hearthstone World Championship. Each qualification stage will narrow the competition, with the final chance to qualify happening later in the year.
- Qualification Periods
- Spring: March – April
- Summer: June – July
- Last Chance: September – October
Competitive Structure The esports roadmap includes multiple stages, leading up to the World Championship:
- Open Qualifiers – Three Open Qualifiers, where top players earn spots in the Masters Tour Playoffs.
- Masters Tour Playoffs – Three Playoffs events, with top players advancing to the Masters Tour Championships.
- Masters Tour Championships – Two Championship events, where the best players qualify for the World Championship.
- Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) – A final global competition offering one last chance to secure a World Championship spot.
- Hearthstone World Championship 2025 – A 16-player showdown for the title and a $500,000 prize pool.

Players can qualify through two pathways:
Ranked Ladder: Place in the top 100 during a qualification period to earn Competitive Points. Masters Tour Playoffs: Top performers move on to the Masters Tour Championships, where 16 players (six from Playoffs and ten from Competitive Points) will battle for four World Championship spots. The Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) is a unique global event, with its winner claiming the final slot at the World Championship.
At the end of the year, all 16 finalists will compete for the Hearthstone World Champion title, with fans able to watch the action live on Hearthstone’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
