Following Hamas's major attack on Israel and its civilians on October 7th, the Israeli Esports Association (IESA) condemned the attacks on Israel by Hamas. The Association released a statement of support to Israeli soldiers. IESA also stated that all esports activities are suspended until further notice.
Israeli Esports Association stated "Our home, Israel, has been attacked. The murderous and cowardly Hamas terrorists attacked, murdered, and kidnapped civilians at their homes during Shabbat and the Simhat Torah holiday, including at locations where the Israeli Esports Association (IESA) has active players and members. This aggression has sparked a war that will unfold in the foreseeable period. All IESA's volunteers and office bearers are currently occupied in defense or civilian duties associated with the current situation for the protection of our home and people. Therefore, all of our Esports activities are suspended until further notice. We call upon the global Esports community and people everywhere to stand by Israel at this difficult time."
