Konami has announced a new partnership with Avalanche for a new NFT feature called Resella. Operating on an Avalanche Subnet, according to release Resella aims to provide a marketplace for users, for designers to create, sell, and trade NFTs within their applications. This platform will extend beyond Konami and Avalanche, inviting external companies and organizations to participate.
A key feature of Resella highlighted by Avalanche is its direct integration capability into programs, eliminating the need for an external web3 wallet. This integration also simplifies transactions for Japanese users by supporting transactions in Yen initially, with future plans to cater to a global audience. Interested users can now apply for early access to Resella.

Konami initially ventured into NFTs in 2022 with a collection based on Castlevania. The company stated that Resella plans to introduce new social experiences within the Web3 ecosystem. For instance, NFTs from gaming environments could be used as event tickets or to unlock exclusive in-game content.
