Vertiqal Studios is set to acquire Luminosity Gaming and Omnia, two major digital assets previously under Enthusiast Gaming, in a move that significantly boosts its presence across key social media and content platforms. The transaction, valued at C$900k, is expected to close on September 5th, 2025.
According to release, by absorbing both Luminosity Gaming—a leading esports brand—and Omnia, a YouTube-centric multi-channel network, Vertiqal gains immediate access to wider audiences across YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms.
“This acquisition represents a significant step forward for Vertiqal, allowing us to scale with existing customers full-funnel across the digital advertising ecosystem,” said Jon Dwyer, Chairman and CEO of Vertiqal Studios. “We’re not just adding two powerhouse brands; we’re integrating platforms, audiences, and sales capabilities that will redefine our offering in the market.”
The deal comes after Enthusiast Gaming made the strategic decision to divest from Luminosity Gaming. During the company’s Q2 2025 earnings report, CEO remarks indicated that Luminosity was no longer aligned with Enthusiast's long-term strategy. As a result, the company will now focus on its core digital properties.
For Vertiqal Studios, the acquisition represents more than brand expansion—it’s a calculated step toward building a full-funnel digital media powerhouse. With Luminosity’s established fanbase and Omnia’s YouTube network reach, Vertiqal positions itself to better serve advertisers and creators across an increasingly interconnected media landscape.
