Brazilian esports organisation MIBR has entered into a landmark partnership with 1xBet, marking the first time a betting company has been integrated into Riot Games’ esports ecosystem. The deal centers on MIBR’s VALORANT roster, one of the most competitive and visible teams in the VCT Americas circuit.
According to 1xBet, the collaboration will focus on building “a new, immersive fan base,” designed to elevate MIBR’s global footprint while strengthening overall interest in Riot’s tactical shooter. Both sides emphasized plans for co-branded content, fan engagement initiatives, and deeper regional outreach.
The partnership comes on the heels of a strong competitive year for MIBR. Throughout 2025, the team established itself as a leading force in the VCT Americas league. It became the only South American team to qualify for Masters Toronto 2025, later closing the season with a top-six finish at VALORANT Champions 2025, cementing its status among the world’s elite VALORANT squads.
1xBet Strategic Advisor Simon Westbury called the agreement a milestone for the company: “This is a historic step for 1xBet — becoming the first official betting partner of an esports team within the Riot Games ecosystem,” he said. “MIBR features some of the most visible and talented players in Latin America, and we aim to strengthen VALORANT’s presence across the LATAM region.”
