PSG Talon is officially making its comeback to the League of Legends esports stage, partnership between PSG Talon Esports has been renewed ahead of the 2025 season. The team will be competing in the newly formed League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP), stepping into a slot previously held solely by Talon Esports.
This announcement also comes with a high-profile commercial boost: Qatar Airways has signed on as the team’s new front-of-jersey sponsor. The airline’s involvement adds significant global visibility to PSG Talon, aligning the team with one of the world’s leading brands in travel and sports.
“We’re thrilled to once again partner with PSG Esports and welcome Qatar Airways as the front of jersey sponsor for our League of Legends team,” said Sean Zhang, CEO and Co-Founder of Talon Esports. “PSG Esports has been an incredible partner and together we've built a globally recognized team brand within League of Legends. With Qatar Airways now joining, we are creating even more opportunities to elevate the fan experience and grow the reach of the team worldwide.”
Fabien Allègre, Chief Brand Officer of Paris Saint-Germain, emphasized the strategic importance of the renewed partnership. “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Talon and return to the League of Legends scene. Esports remains an important pillar of PSG’s global brand strategy and our collaboration with Talon has consistently delivered success both competitively and commercially. The addition of Qatar Airways further strengthens this project and allows us to continue building bridges between traditional sport, esports, and global audiences.”

The 2025 season marks the debut of the League of Legends Championship Pacific — a major restructuring of regional competitive play in Asia. The LCP combines four leagues — the Pacific Championship Series (PCS), League of Legends Japan League (LJL), League of Legends Circuit Oceania (LCO), and Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) — into one unified pan-Asian competition. This merger is designed to enhance regional competitiveness, foster new rivalries, and create a stronger path to global events like the World Championship.
PSG Talon originally formed in 2020 and quickly rose to prominence with multiple regional titles and several appearances on the global stage. Their renewed partnership aims not only to maintain that competitive momentum but also to build on fan engagement and global brand development.
