At its 11th annual Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) on September 5, Roblox Corporation introduced a comprehensive lineup of AI-powered tools and platform upgrades designed to support its vast community of developers and creators. The new tools, many of which will roll out later this year or in 2026, are built around a central promise: to help creators scale their work, grow their audience, and increase their earning potential.

Among the standout announcements is the introduction of 4D object creation, a leap forward in generative AI that Roblox describes as enabling interaction “between objects, environments, and people,” thereby bringing dynamic, functional models to life. The fourth dimension, according to the company, is not time—but interaction.

Roblox’s new 4D Objects feature represents a significant advancement in asset generation on the platform. Unlike static models, these AI-generated objects are built with inherent interactivity, designed to respond to the game environment and user behavior.

“Advancing generative AI with 4D object creation” is aimed at giving creators the power to build complex, reactive worlds with minimal coding overhead.

The feature will enter limited release in Q4 2025.
