CEO Joe Brammer and CFO Mark's pitch to other FPS studios was one sentence: bring a shooter, bring something exclusive, nobody pays anybody.

Fifteen said yes. The FPS Games Show aired 3 September on Twitch, and it was great.

Everything shown

Fragmentary Order. Nikita Buyanov's hardcore sci-fi shooter opened with a trailer built largely from existing footage, focused on the universe's origins.

Rainbow Six Siege. Operation Split Fire, covering new operator Noor and Wasteland Circuit, a full drone racing mode with pickups and multiple maps.

Escape from Tarkov. The most unexpected slot on the card, since Battlestate doesn't do showcases. The reveal wasn't a game. Battlestate wants to become a publisher and help bring other studios' games to market.

Ready or Not. Version 1.5's mission editor, live now on all platforms, with modifiers and community sharing.

STALZONE. The extraction MMO formerly pitched as STALKER crossed with Minecraft, rebranded earlier this year. New horror season called Tulpa, running to 2 December.

SCUM. A year-in-review trailer covering how far the game has moved in twelve months.

Gray Zone Warfare. MADFINGER teased the operating model and the mystery at the game's centre, with a super-sized update coming. A 30% Steam discount went live to mark the slot.

WARDOGS. A launch trailer ahead of early access on 10 September, plus a clip competition with a 100,000 dollar jackpot.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Short trailer, update 1.5 on the horizon, weeks after full release.

Beautiful Light. Horror extraction shooter where you play the humans and the monsters. New trailer showed combat from both perspectives, alongside a wrist-mounted PDA for real-time surveying.

Bellum. Drewski presented a commentary segment on a savannah map, new weapons, classes, equipment and ammunition types, another step toward 1.0.

Incursion: Red River. Update #4 this autumn, with a new map called Outskirts, food and drink survival mechanics, improved AI and art, and new utility items.

Road to Vostok. The near-Solo developer revealed build two, arriving on Steam 30 September, with a new faction, a trader who drives around the world, and a new shelter option.

SAND: Raiders of Sophie. A promo for the core experience of crafting enormous walking machines and fighting over resources.

BODYCAM. A trailer recapping the Locked and Loaded update, which pulled the game's highest concurrent numbers to date and is free for all users.

'83. Introductory trailer plus the Marshlands update, bringing 40v40 battles, new commander abilities, a map and new progression. Free to try on Steam for a few days.

Terminal War. Not an FPS, and it got a slot anyway. The third-person survival shooter drew heavy Last of Us Factions comparisons, with a trailer covering how the world collapsed and a look at multiplayer maps.

WW1: Gallipoli. The Ottoman Fronts update arrives 1 October with a new theatre of war.
