Stend Retires a Week After Saying He Was Open to Offers

Well that was a turn for sure.

Last week he was looking for a 2027 team. On Monday he announced he will retire.

He stated he wants to continue with his studies.

Four teams in nine months

Heretics managed to keep Stend and jungler Sheo from 2025, they stated that the duo is the core of a long-term project. Both were gone within four months. Stend was released after LEC Versus for Korean support Way.

He joined Misa Esports, to replace the player who'd taken his LEC spot. He reached the EMEA Masters semi-finals, finishing third. Misa disbanded most of its roster weeks later.

France also picked Zoelys over him for the Esports Nations Cup.

Shifters finished last in the Summer regular season with one win from Nine series.

He stated after "It's officially the end of the split for us, these really aren't the results I was hoping for, I'm sincerely sorry to the Shifters fans and to the club that trusted me to change things in summer. It's the end of a difficult year for me."

Before that

His career started in 2019 through the French Open Tour, then GamersOrigin Academy in LFL Division 2 at 18. He first played alongside Sheo at Tony Parker Adéquat Academy.

Team Oplon, Giants, Dusty, KOI Academy, then Vitality.Bee, where he won the 2024 Coupe de France and finished second at EMEA Masters Summer.

With Heretics in 2025 seventh-eighth in WinteR, fifth-sixth in Spring, seventh-eighth in Summer. A solid first Tier 1 season that made keeping him for 2026 look obvious.
