Stream Hatchet Partners with Esports World Cup

Stream Hatchet, has been appointed the Official Data and Insights Partner for the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC). The announcement comes just days ahead of the event’s kickoff, which runs from next week through August 24th.
As part of the partnership, Stream Hatchet will provide real-time analytics, performance dashboards, and engagement insights throughout the tournament. The company will also support the event with social campaigns and data-driven content, offering detailed metrics on viewership and audience behavior across platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Kick.
Known for its deep-rooted presence in the esports data landscape, Stream Hatchet has previously collaborated with major publishers, including Riot Games, with whom it renewed a partnership last year. The firm is also recognized for publishing an annual industry trends report that tracks key developments in gaming and esports viewership.
Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, emphasized the strategic importance of the deal: “Bringing Stream Hatchet’s leading technology into EWC operations shows just how committed we are to pushing esports to new professional heights. This partnership means everyone involved – from teams and sponsors to fans and media – will get an unprecedented look into tournament performance and engagement.”
The announcement also highlights the broader growth of GameSquare Holdings, which has been expanding its influence in the esports space. The parent company of Stream Hatchet, GameSquare is the owner of several prominent assets, including FaZe Clan, which it officially acquired last year, along with marketing agencies Code Red and Zoned.
