Companies/Team HereticsTeam Heretics and CGN Esports have announced a strategic partnership focused on VALORANT, bringing both teams together for joint training and preparation for major upcoming events. This collaboration will see Team Heretics gearing up for the upcoming VCT EMEA season, while CGN Esports prepares its roster for the road to qualify for EMEA Ascension 2025.
The partnership also opens new opportunities for both teams in their respective regions. For Team Heretics, the deal marks its entry into the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, where CGN is based. Meanwhile, CGN Esports aims to leverage the popularity of Team Heretics, the runners-up of VALORANT Champions 2024, to expand its presence in Spain.

In addition to shared training sessions, the partnership will include joint activations such as community tournaments, watch parties, and collaborative content featuring players from both teams. The organizations will also launch co-branded merchandise, including jerseys and collectibles. Furthermore, both teams announced plans to host offline events in Spain and Germany in 2025.

Heretics and CGN are united by a vision to inspire the next generation of esports fans through performance, creativity, and authentic community engagement.”
Founded in 2020, CGN Esports is a German esports organization currently competing in the VALORANT Challengers DACH league. Despite finishing third in VCT Ascension EMEA 2024, CGN's roster narrowly missed out on promotion to VCT EMEA.
