Many players are now finding the game nearly unplayable due to the increased presence of cheaters who are exploiting the game's accessibility via Xbox Game Pass to evade anti-cheat measures.

Cheating has long been a persistent issue within the Call of Duty franchise, and despite regular updates to anti-cheat systems, cheaters continuously adapt and circumvent these protections. Cheats such as aimhacks and wallhacks provide unfair advantages and contribute to heightened frustration among legitimate players.
