The recent addition of Modern Warfare 3 to Xbox Game Pass has led to a noticeable spike in cheating incidents within Call of Duty: Warzone. Many players are now finding the game nearly unplayable due to the increased presence of cheaters who are exploiting the game's accessibility via Xbox Game Pass to evade anti-cheat measures.
Cheating has long been a persistent issue within the Call of Duty franchise, and despite regular updates to anti-cheat systems, cheaters continuously adapt and circumvent these protections. Cheats such as aimhacks and wallhacks provide unfair advantages and contribute to heightened frustration among legitimate players.

Since the launch of Season 5, reports indicate a significant rise in cheaters, with many using the PC version from the Microsoft Store but appearing in-game with an Xbox logo next to their names. This anomaly occurs because the Microsoft Store version of the game lists PC players as Xbox users in lobbies, exacerbating the problem.
While the release of Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass has been generally well-received, the ongoing challenge of managing cheating underscores the difficulty of effectively addressing the issue within the game.
