|content=[[Companies/Activision Blizzard|Activision Blizzard]] has reached a settlement of $54.9m for a  lawsuit filed by California’s Civil Rights Department, which accused the company of engaging in discriminatory pay and promotion practices against women.

This resolution,follows [[News/Activision Blizzard to Join Microsoft|Microsoft's completion of its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard]] in October, a deal that received regulatory approval after Microsoft addressed concerns raised in the U.K..

As part of the settlement terms, Activision Blizzard will pay workers and the court charges. Specifically, about $45.75 million will be directed to a settlement fund designed to compensate workers affected by the alleged discriminatory practices.
