|content=Sony’s Bend Studio has faced significant layoffs following the cancellation of a live service game project. The move, which impacted about a third of the studio’s workforce, comes after the company decided not to proceed with the live service concept it had been developing.

The cancellation of Bend Studio’s live service project follows a similar move from Bluepoint Games earlier this year, both of which were confirmed alongside other developments within PlayStation Studios. Despite the cancellations, Sony maintains its faith in the talent and potential of both studios.
