|content=GameSquare Holdings, Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with the Animecoin Foundation, marking another significant step in its Web3 expansion. The Texas-based media, entertainment, and technology company revealed plans to purchase up to $2.5 million in Animecoin on the open market and become the official agency of record for the Animecoin Foundation.

The agreement reflects [[Companies/GameSquare Holdings|GameSquare Holdings]] ongoing focus on integrating culturally resonant digital assets into its onchain treasury while leveraging its core strengths in gaming, creative services, and esports.

As part of the one-year agreement, GameSquare will provide $2.5 million worth of creative and agency services to the Animecoin Foundation, which is backed by Azuki — an LA-based anime company known for operating Anime.com and creating original anime IP. In return, the company will receive the equivalent value in Animecoin, expanding its digital asset holdings and exposure to the fast-growing anime and gaming fandom space.

Cultural Asset Acquisition: Investing in NFTs and other culturally relevant digital assets with the goal of generating stablecoin yields in the 6% to 10% range.

Web3 Operating Model: Providing creative, agency, and esports services to crypto-native clients while acquiring high-potential digital assets and expanding its global presence.

With this new collaboration, GameSquare deepens its involvement in Web3 while aligning itself with a culturally powerful ecosystem.
