Surgeon Simulator, known for its humorous and over-the-top medical simulations, originally debuted on PC and Mac in 2013. The game features first-person surgical procedures set in unconventional environments.

Since its inception, Surgeon Simulator has expanded its reach with adaptations for mobile platforms and PlayStation 4 in 2014, followed by a VR version titled Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet The Medic on PlayStation 4 and Windows in 2016. The franchise continued to grow with Surgeon Simulator CPR releasing for Nintendo Switch in 2018. In 2020, a sequel titled Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas introduced four-player online co-op gameplay on PC, followed by its Xbox release in 2021.
