The listing reveals that the Valve Fremont is equipped with a six-core, 12-thread CPU clocked at 3.2 GHz, along with 8GB of DDR5 RAM. Though the benchmark shows the device running Windows 11 Pro, insiders suggest the final product will use SteamOS, Valve’s Linux-based operating system tailored for gaming.

Lynch also claims the system features a semi-custom CPU based on AMD's Hawk Point 2 architecture, notably without an integrated GPU. Instead, the console reportedly packs a dedicated AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, making it significantly more powerful than Valve’s handheld Steam Deck.

All of this hardware is said to be housed in a custom-designed case by Valve, tailored for living room environments.

The Valve Fremont could be just one part of a broader hardware rollout. According to Lynch, Valve plans to launch it alongside several other devices: a new controller codenamed “Ibex”, the long-rumored “Deckard” VR headset, and its accompanying “Roy” controllers.
