content | Text | | The Asian Champions League (ACL), the multi-title esports tournament by Hero Esports, has confirmed that the champions of its Dota 2 event will earn a coveted spot at the Esports World Cup (EWC).
With a total prize pool of $150,000, the tournament’s winner will claim $100,000. The competition will unfold across three stages, beginning with an Online Qualifier running from March 7 to March 30. Each week, a champion will be crowned, advancing to the next phase.
The second stage, the Season Finals, will feature the top four teams from the Open Qualifiers competing against four invited teams: Xtreme Gaming (XG), Team YB, Tidebound, and one yet-to-be-announced organization. These finals will take place from May 1 to May 3.
From there, the top four teams will progress to the Grand Finals on May 16, where they will battle for the championship. Alongside securing a place at the Esports World Cup, the winning team will also earn a slot at DreamLeague Season 26.
