The independent game studio, founded by Phil Shenk, Peter Hu, and Erich Schaefer, secured backing from "a network of notable angel investors," including Gaingels, Cohh Carnage, and Mark Pincus. The round was led by 1AM Gaming, with additional participation from 1UP Ventures, The Mini Fund, Overwolf, and Versus Ventures.
