According to release, this acquisition grants Remedy full control over the publishing, distribution, and marketing aspects of Control, as well as any future sequels or spinoffs.
Furthermore, Remedy has revealed its intentions to explore potential partnerships for the development of Control 2 and a multiplayer spinoff. As part of the agreement, the publishing arrangement between Remedy and 505 Games has been mutually terminated. However, 505 Games will continue to act as Control's until the end of 2024. Meanwhile, Remedy will immediately assume control over Control 2 and the multiplayer spinoff, codenamed Condor. |
