contentText[[Companies/Theorycraft Games|Theorycraft Games]] has officially announced SUPERVIVE previously codenamed "Project Loki" the upcoming free-to-play competitive squad-based hero battle royale. They have announced plans for an open beta scheduled for late 2024, alongside a public playtest scheduled from June 27 to July 4. Theorycraft Games has also lifted the NDA for creators on its new game and plans to unveil two more surprises this week. START_WIDGET"'-fb1ec1343f432512END_WIDGET On June 26th, the company will release a full match VOD to give potential players a glimpse of the competitive gameplay in SUPERVIVE, a free-to-play squad-based hero battle royale. In SUPERVIVE, teams of four dive into a sprawling sky world, aiming to outlast others as a deadly storm shrinks the play area. To achieve victory, squads will land on a vast map, hunt monsters, and pursue diverse objectives to gain levels, rare abilities, and equipment, crucial for defeating rival teams. According to the release, SUPERVIVE features its main mode, SQUADS, with 10 teams per lobby totaling 40 players, organized into squads of four. Game sessions typically last about 20 minutes. Additionally, the game supports duos and four-versus-four deathmatch modes. Each match in SUPERVIVE features dynamic map-based objectives and unpredictable storm shifts. These storm shifts introduce random mutations to gameplay variables, such as the bullet trains event, which places three deadly high-speed trains on the map, or the nomadic storm, which shifts the playable area across vast distances, among others. Additionally, biome-specific monsters and bosses spawn periodically during matches, each offering unique powers or game-changing abilities when defeated. These elements add layers of strategy and excitement to each game session in SUPERVIVE. During the beta, players can choose from over 15 hunters, with more in development for the official launch. Each hunter is equipped with a primary fire, four abilities, and a passive skill. Hunters are unlocked progressively through gameplay via the Hunter’s Journey pass, allowing players to select any hunter at various level milestones. In SUPERVIVE, there are no strict roles or required team compositions. The company states that all hunters are capable of dealing substantial damage and can excel in one-versus-one encounters with skill. The game categorizes hunters into three main archetypes: Fighters: High damage output with limited utility. Protectors: Moderate damage dealers with supportive team abilities. Controllers: Moderate damage dealers specializing in disruptive and space-controlling abilities. '''More:'''[[News/FlyQuest Partners with NZXT|FlyQuest Partners with NZXT]] In June 2023, Theorycraft Games unveiled Project Loki now known as SUPERVIVE and commenced alpha testing in April of the same year. The company also revealed partnerships with NetEase and Nexon to launch the game in the Asian market. Nexon will handle publishing duties in South Korea and Japan, while NetEase will publish the game in China. Theorycraft CEO Joe Tung stated '''“It’s been a wild ride to get to this point and we are proud to present SUPERVIVE as our first shot across the bow.
