contentText[[Companies/Riot Games|Riot Games]] has announced significant updates to the VALORANT Game Changers ecosystem, including key changes to the qualification process for the season-ending world championship in 2025. For the first time, the women’s VALORANT circuit will combine Brazil, North America, and LATAM into a unified Americas region, resulting in adjustments to the slot allocation for the Game Changers Championship. The total number of spots available will remain at 10, with EMEA securing three, the Pacific region gaining two, and China fighting for one. The Americas region will now compete for the remaining four slots. Although the Americas will be considered a single region, there will still be separate regional leagues for North America, Brazil, and LATAM, each crowning its own representative. The final slot will be determined through a new Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), which will be held at Riot Games’ São Paulo studio. Over the course of two days, the second-place teams from Brazil, LATAM, and North America will compete. After a round-robin stage on the first day, the top two teams will face off in a best-of-five series to secure the final Game Changers Championship spot. '''More:'''[[News/Unity Q4 2024 Financial Results Announced|Unity Q4 2024 Financial Results Announced]] This change in qualification provides an opportunity for LATAM and Brazil to have two teams represented at this year’s championship, a major shift from the previous format, where only one team from each of these regions could qualify. In contrast, North American representatives were selected based on circuit points and by winning Series 3. Now, Brazil, LATAM, and North America will all have the chance to secure a spot through the new offline LCQ event.
