Los Ratones General Manager to Attend "Love is Blind UK"

Kieran Holmes-Darby, the 28-year-old founder of EXCEL Esports and current General Manager of Los Ratones, is set to appear on the second season of the UK version of Netflix's popular dating series, Love is Blind.
The reality show, which has captivated audiences worldwide, will feature Holmes-Darby as one of the male contestants seeking romance. Like the US version, the UK series follows singles who go on dates inside pods, where they can talk but not see each other. After 10 days, participants who form a meaningful connection may get engaged. They then meet in person before deciding whether to marry or part ways.
The new UK season is set to premiere on August 13th, with celebrity couple Matt and Emma Willis co-hosting the show. Holmes-Darby joins a cast of 30 singles all hoping to find lasting love through the unique format.
Holmes-Darby’s move into reality TV comes after years of success in the esports world. In 2014, he co-founded EXCEL Esports with his brother. Over the years, EXCEL became one of Europe’s most prominent esports organizations, competing in popular titles such as Fortnite and Call of Duty. The organization’s success peaked in 2022 when it finished second in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Summer Split.
In 2023, EXCEL merged with Spanish organization Giants Gaming, forming the new brand GIANTX, which competes in both the LEC and VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA. Holmes-Darby then left the organization to take on the role of General Manager for Los Ratones, a League of Legends team owned by former EXCEL player Marc Robert ‘Caedrel’ Lamont. He also serves as the Business Director of Ear to the Ground, a creative agency focused on sports, entertainment, and gaming.
