GRID to Acquire Bayes Esports' Assets

GRID has acquired the intellectual property assets of Bayes Esports after the latter filed for insolvency. The acquisition will enhance GRID’s esports betting platform, GRID Bet, by integrating Bayes’ fan engagement tools and other technologies developed over the past decade.

GRID aims to use these assets to accelerate GRID Bet’s growth and drive innovation across its broader portfolio. “The acquisition of Bayes assets further accelerates GRID’s capabilities to create value for rights holders in esports and shape the next phase of esports betting,” said Moritz Maurer, Founder and CEO of GRID.

GRID , partnered with tournament operators like BLAST, and this move further strengthens its position. Founded in 2019, Bayes Esports was known for providing data solutions to esports and gambling stakeholders before its insolvency.
