Gaimin Gladiators Reveals New CS2 Roster
After a seven-month absence from the Counter-Strike scene, Canadian esports organization Gaimin Gladiators has officially re-entered the competitive landscape, picking up the core of the former W7M Esports roster.
The move sees the organization shift its focus to the South American region, acquiring a Brazilian lineup that previously competed under W7M Esports before the latter exited Valve’s flagship FPS title in May 2025. Currently sitting at 30th place in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) for the Americas, the new Gaimin Gladiators squad will make its debut later this week at FERJEE Rush 2025, a Tier 2 LAN event running from September 27–30.
The tournament, which features 16 South American teams, offers a R$150,000 (~£20,944) prize pool and serves as a key opportunity for teams to accumulate valuable VRS points ahead of the StarLadder Budapest Major qualification cutoff.
This marks Gaimin Gladiators' first Counter-Strike appearance since December 2024, when it competed in European Pro League Season 21 with an all-Danish roster. That squad failed to advance past the Group Stage, ending the organization’s run in Europe with a top-12 finish.
