HEROIC was founded in Copenhagen in March of 2013 to go along with the launch of CS:GO.
From 2013-2016 they had teams in CS:GO, LoL, Battlefield 4, Starcraft II and Hearthstone and several big esports players spent their early days with HEROIC, like CS:GO legend dev1ce.
In August of 2016, the brand was adopted by RFRSH, but was later sold to an Ukrainian owner and finally landing with Norwegian ownership with the establishment of the HEROIC Group in 2021.
