Vietnamese League of Legends veteran Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh has confirmed he is stepping away from professional competition, bringing an end to a ten-year career that helped define the region’s esports scene.

Levi shared the announcement in a birthday video, explaining that he had been thinking about retirement for a long time. Over the past decade, he became one of Vietnam’s most celebrated players, lifting 10 VCS trophies, earning a gold medal at the 31st SEA Games, and appearing several times at both MSI and Worlds.

Even with these accomplishments, Levi said he still feels a sense of unfinished business. “There’s one thing I really wanted to do, and that is to help VCS go further in international tournaments,” he said. “For example, seeing a VCS team make it to at least the top 8 at Worlds. But right now, I have to leave without having achieved that.”

In the announcement, he also revealed he has been dealing with stomach problems and, more recently, issues with his right hand. However, he emphasized that his main reason for retiring is the desire to spend more time with his parents and consider starting a family of his own. Levi closed the video by sharing his next steps. He plans to move into full-time streaming and content creation, and he may also co-stream official matches in the future.
