According to recent reports, Collecge Football 25 will release earlier than expected. Kirk Herbstreit, ESPN commentator, provided further insight into the release date of College Football 25, narrowing it down to July. Electronic Arts had already confirmed that the game would be released in the summer of 2024, with a full reveal scheduled for May. However, the specific month of the release had not been officially disclosed by the developers. A potential July launch would precede the official start of the college football season on August 24th by a full month.

There will be 600 licensed athletes in the game with 124 FSBs. The reports also state that there are several broadcasting teams working on the title.
