Skyesports has announced the Skyesports Championship 2024 for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), with the LAN stage scheduled for December 14th and 15th at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore. Open qualifiers for players aged 16+ in India are now available through Skyesports’ Discord server. More details on the prize pool and schedule will be shared soon.

Established in 2019, the Skyesports Championship is India’s longest-running homegrown esports IP. The 2022 edition was canceled due to BGMI's removal from app stores, but the event resumed in 2023 after the game’s return. Last year’s tournament peaked at 62,041 viewers with a prize pool of 12.5 million INR.

This year, Skyesports also made significant changes to its 2024 Counter-Strike 2 Skyesports Masters event, moving away from the franchised league structure and shifting the event online.
