Los Ratones, the UK-registered esports organisation founded by British content creator Caedrel, made history today by winning the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 final.

In a best-of-five grand final, Los Ratones triumphed 3-0 over the French esports organisation Ici Japon Corp. Esport, securing their place in the record books as the first UK-based team to ever win the prestigious EMEA Masters (formerly known as EU Masters). This Winter 2025 season marked the 15th iteration of the tournament, and it was the first time a team from the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC)—the EMEA Regional League covering the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Malta—took the crown.

Los Ratones had already claimed the NLC Winter 2025 title in Nottingham earlier this month, and their impressive EMEA Masters journey began in Group D. Despite a loss to Karmine Corp Blue in the upper bracket, they bounced back by defeating E Wie Einfach Esports in the lower bracket. The team then went on to secure narrow 3-2 victories over SupperMassive and Team Phantasma in the playoffs, earning them a spot in today’s grand final.

Caedrel shared his excitement on stream after the win: “We went through some crazy hard times. Shoutout to you guys (the fans) for the support.” He added, “It’s crazy, the boys smurfed it. We put a lot of work in and had a bad period for a couple of weeks, but a lot of meetings and talks, and the boys put in a lot of effort on-stream and off-stream. We got better at sequences, and when we beat SuperMassive in the fifth game, everything came together.”
