"jkaem" Admits Mistake

Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad, the Norwegian rifler, has been publicly accused of owing $10,000 in skins to trader erlsan, with the debt originating from loans made for the Paris Major.

The situation came to light after erlsan revealed the outstanding debt, which has reportedly been unpaid for over two years. erlsan claims that jkaem borrowed high-value skins for the event, but instead of returning them, he allegedly gambled them away. Despite promises to "upgrade" the skins, the debt remains unpaid, and erlsan says he has only received $1,000 of the $11,000 total debt as of March 15, 2025.

In a public statement on social media, erlsan shared his frustration with the lack of resolution, saying he reached out to jkaem multiple times, only to be met with excuses such as "being on the road" or "getting paid soon." Eventually, erlsan grew tired of waiting and decided to make the issue public.

Following the revelation, jkaem admitted to his mistakes and acknowledged that there is more than one instance of similar behavior. In a statement, he took full responsibility for his actions and vowed to repay all debts, including both money and skins, to everyone he owes.

"I don't have any excuses. I fucked up badly, and there is more than one case," jkaem said. "I will pay back everything to everyone I owe. I was an idiot, honestly. I take full responsibility and own my mistakes."

In an effort to make things right, jkaem mentioned that he is working with his BC team to address the situation. He expressed gratitude for their support and said that they are helping him fix the damage caused by his actions.

"I want to apologize to everyone I've taken advantage of. I am 100% in the wrong here, and I have to face the consequences of my actions," he added.

The practice of skin lending is common in the professional scene, where players often borrow high-tier skins to showcase their collections on broadcast.
