Red Bull is blurring the lines between esports, music, and dance culture with its latest move: a collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and the world-renowned breakdancing competition, Red Bull BC One.

This year’s UK qualifier, set in London’s vibrant Shoreditch district, won’t just be about footwork and freezes. Attendees will also find gaming stations featuring Street Fighter 6, giving fans a chance to dive into the fighting game while top B-Boys and B-Girls battle for a ticket to the World Final in Japan this November.

Adding to the cultural mash-up, grime legend D Double E will take the stage for a special halftime performance of his track “Street Fighter.”

The partnership continues Capcom’s push to integrate Street Fighter 6 into broader entertainment spaces. Earlier this year, the franchise surprised fans with a high-profile collaboration with K-pop group aespa, marking one of the girl group’s first ventures into gaming partnerships.

For Red Bull, this kind of crossover is nothing new. The brand has built a reputation for fusing competitive gaming with mainstream culture. Its annual Red Bull Kumite tournament remains one of the FGC’s most prestigious stages. In 2025, the event brought the world’s top players to Paris, where they fought for a prize pool of €50,000 (~£43,318).
