Gen.G Esports has announced an extension of its partnership with Idahoan Foods, focusing on the Potato Shreds snack. The collaboration will introduce the Shreds Gaming Lounge at the University of Kentucky, Boston University, and the University of Florida.
The Gaming Lounge will feature product giveaways, gaming stations, and a high-score competition, allowing students to sample Shreds products. Activations will occur over several days in October and November, coinciding with campus tailgate events.
Gen.G CEO Arnold Hur stated, “It’s been an incredible experience working with the Shreds team to use gaming to position the brand in an innovative way across the different college campuses we partner with. This is our second year – proving that when you’ve got a great product, gaming is an effective way to position a brand thoughtfully and authentically.”
