G2 is stepping into the world of storytelling with the launch of Red Aura, a brand-new online comic series. The project is inspired by G2’s ten-year journey of ambition, achievement, and emotion. Created in partnership with Japanese Art Director Runbel and KISAI Entertainment—the studio known for webcomic versions of AVATAR: The Last Airbender and The Beginning After the End—the series brings G2’s legacy to life through an exciting fantasy world.

Red Aura officially debuts today in Japan on WEBTOON’s LINE MANGA, with more languages and a global release on WEBTOON to come soon. The first 10 episodes are already available in Japanese, and new episodes will be released every week. The first season will include over 40 episodes in total.

The story follows Asa, a young girl from a humble background who dreams of becoming the greatest Nomad in a world filled with magic, adventure, and danger. In this universe, magical nomads have the power to shape reality itself. Red Aura mixes fast-paced action, emotional moments, and lighthearted humor, taking inspiration from beloved shonen series. Each story arc connects to parts of G2’s own history—reimagined through the struggles and triumphs of its characters.

“For over 10 years, G2 has chased excellence and defied expectations. Red Aura is a reflection of those values,” said Sabrina Ratih, COO of G2 Esports. “G2 is at the heart of digital-first entertainment, and with Red Aura, we’ve created a story that anyone can enjoy, whether they’re an esports fan or not. We see this as the next step in G2’s evolution into an entertainment powerhouse, with a beautifully crafted story inspired by the challenges overcome on our journey. We’re doing something completely new here, taking a big leap into the unknown, but are really excited for readers to experience and enjoy this new world with us.”
