Kim Kardashian is officially arriving in Fortnite, marking the latest celebrity to join the game’s expanding list of collaborations. Earlier today, Kardashian revealed her upcoming in-game skins on social media, quickly sparking reactions from players who pointed out how different her character model looks compared to Fortnite’s usual style. Many fans also noted that Epic Games seems to be stepping away from earlier guidelines about avoiding certain types of character designs.
Kardashian’s addition to the Icon Series is scheduled for December 13. The release will include three skins, one of which is inspired by her SKIMS brand. The bundle will also contain back bling, a glider, and a special emote that some players say feels a bit too suggestive for a game with a young audience.
Epic Games is offering an unusually high level of customization with these skins. Players will be able to change hairstyles and outfit color schemes, giving them more control over the look of the character.
