Riot Games revealed some changes to LEC format. The modifications will encompass the consolidation of the LEC group and playoff stages into a unified bracket. The league is also adjusting the schedule and intervals between regional and international competitions to improve the overall viewing experience, facilitating an easier follow-through of LEC. Riot Games also increased the minimum age to compete to 18. The breaks between splits are also increased by one week. Recently Riot Games' Marc Merril is named as the new Chief Product Officer.
