The 18-year-old hacker has been sentenced to life in a hospital prison. On Thursday, British judge determined that Arion Kurtaj poses a significant risk to the public due to his continued desire to engage in cybercrime. In August, a London jury concluded that Kurtaj orchestrated cyberattacks against Rockstar Games, along with other companies such as Uber and Nvidia. However, given Kurtaj's autism and his deemed unfitness to stand trial, the jury was tasked with determining whether he committed the actions in question rather than assessing criminal intent. Despite the being in a secure hotel room, Kurtaj successfully executed an attack on Rockstar Games utilizing the Amazon Fire Stick provided in the room, along with a newly purchased smartphone, keyboard, and mouse.
