Currently, the acquisition was blocked by the UK's CMA, however, the government body gave the green light on the deal recently. Activision Blizzard will receive $4.5B if Microsoft fails to complete the acquisition. The deal is also blocked by the US Federal Trade Commission, currently, FTC aims to block the deal.
