ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially entered into a strategic partnership with BLAST Premier, becoming the Official Monitor, PC, Laptop, and Peripheral Partner for the remainder of the 2025 Counter-Strike 2 competitive season.
The collaboration will cover the final trio of events on the BLAST Premier calendar:
BLAST Premier Bounty S2 – Malta (Studio): August 5–17
BLAST Premier Open S2 – London (Arena): August 27–September 7
BLAST Premier Rivals S2 – Hong Kong (Arena): November 12–16
As part of the deal, ROG will equip all tournament and practice setups with its high-performance gaming hardware. Featured gear includes the ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace, the official monitor for BLAST Premier, debuting onstage at the Malta-based Bounty S2 event. Touted as the world’s fastest TN-panel monitor, it boasts a 610Hz refresh rate—ideal for the fast-twitch reflexes Counter-Strike 2 demands.
The ROG Ace Esports Collection will also be prominently featured, including the ROG Harpe II Ace mouse—co-developed with professional players—and the ROG Falchion Ace HFX, a magnetic keyboard quickly gaining popularity in the competitive scene. These peripherals underscore ROG’s commitment to pushing performance and precision in esports hardware.
Speaking on the new partnership, James Brown, Commercial Director at BLAST, said:
“Counter-Strike is a game defined by precision, speed, and reliability. All things that ROG is renowned for in the gaming space. We’re proud to welcome ROG into the BLAST Premier family and excited to see their hardware power the top tier of competition for the remainder of 2025. Whether it's at their demo booths, in practice rooms or under the lights on stage, ROG will take pride of place, levelling up both fan and player experiences.”
In return, ROG will benefit from broad integration across BLAST Premier’s global broadcasts and events. This includes sponsor branding on-screen and in-venue, plus dedicated content initiatives—such as taking over the fan-favorite “Mic’d Up” segments that offer a behind-the-scenes look into team comms. On-site activations are also planned, with ROG booths set to engage fans live at the London and Hong Kong arena events.
ROG’s commitment to elevating competitive gaming was further emphasized by Kris Huang, General Manager of ASUS Gaming & Workspace Gear:
“We’re proud to join forces with BLAST Esports in 2025 to support the world’s top esports talent. Our mission is to deliver the most advanced solutions that empower players to achieve peak performance and provide fans with unforgettable gaming experiences. Together, we look forward to setting new standards in competitive gaming.”
ROG’s debut will take place at BLAST Premier Bounty S2, which launches in early August. Featuring 32 of the world’s top CS2 teams and a unique $500,000 performance-based bounty system, the event culminates in a LAN playoff hosted at the newly opened BLAST Studios in Malta from August 14 to 17.
