BLAST Premier revealed Falcons, GamerLegion, Team Spirit, and Virtus.pro as the new members of the tournament circuit. Following the news the total number of teams increased to 16. Recently Cloud9 also acquired EG's spot. Andrew Haworth, Programme Director for BLAST Premier, stated “We are excited to be expanding our pool of participating teams in the BLAST Premier circuit with four new Affiliate Member Teams."
