BLAST has unveiled the qualification system for its upcoming Rising events, which will serve as regional qualifiers for the BLAST Open tournaments.
The BLAST Rising circuit will span four regions: Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Each region will feature both open and closed qualifiers, with the following structure:
The top four teams in the Regional Valve Rankings (excluding those already directly invited to the Open) will receive direct invitations to the BLAST Rising Finals. The next 12 teams in the regional rankings will be invited to the Closed Qualifiers, where they will be joined by four teams that qualify through the regional Open Qualifiers. The 16 teams in the Closed Qualifiers will be split into four groups, each playing a full best-of-three, double-elimination bracket. The top four teams from each group will advance to the Rising Finals, where they will join the four direct invitees.
